This Privacy Policy describes how Whenever Works, operated by Standard Design Authority, LLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Whenever Works mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”).

Information You Provide

We collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Your name and email address
  • Account authentication information
  • Event details you create (such as event names, descriptions, dates, and availability options)
  • Responses you submit when participating in events
  • Communications you send to us

Authentication Information

You may sign in using:

  • Sign in with Apple
  • Google Sign-In
  • Email and password

When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address (or a private relay email, if enabled). This information is used solely to authenticate you and manage your account.

Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Service, we may automatically collect:

  • App usage and interaction data
  • Device and app information (such as device type, operating system, and app version)
  • IP address (used for security and operational purposes)

We do not collect precise location data.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Create and manage events and responses
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts
  • Send service-related communications, including event updates and notifications
  • Deliver push notifications (which you can disable at any time in your device settings)

  • With event participants, when you create or respond to events (for example, your name or responses may be visible to others involved in the event)

When you delete your account, your personal data and associated event data are deleted or anonymized, except where retention is required by law.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. When you do:

  • Your account information is permanently deleted
  • Events you created and your responses are removed or anonymized
  • This action cannot be undone

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to:

  • Access and update your personal information
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request data portability

You can exercise these rights through your account settings or by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Whenever Works is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
